Adoptionism

Adoptionism is a minority Christian belief that Jesus was born merely human and that he became divine later in his life.

Alternatively, you can consider this opinion I found when I searched for adoptionism.  It’s a bit convoluted, but that never stopped me before.

I dont know why there’s gotta be an ism at the end of this world. The word is adoption. When people add ism on the end, it becomes unnecessary letters, and makes people look like an idiot. If they’re going to add ism to adoption, they might as well add Brangelina to the word since everyone associates them with it.

If you’re like me, and you have no idea what Brangelina is, it’s Brad and Angelina.  Weird.
