Altruism. I work for a protective and advocacy corporation for the elderly and disabled. The funny thing about altuism is that it is the ultimate in diminishing returns. You think that third candy bar isn’t as good at the first, think about the third deaf/blind schizophrenic of the week that you have to interview through a touch sign language interpreter. You’re tring to find out if they receive any sort of federal benefits, and they are trying to tell you that there are tiny machines in their soup.
